The agreement between you and Astrun
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Zeinen Technology ("we," "us," "our"), governing your access to and use of the Astrun mobile application ("Astrun," the "App," or the "Service"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Astrun, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Astrun is a moon-calendar gardening companion app that provides a lunar calendar, location-based frost-risk alerts, plant tracking, a garden journal, and reminders to help you plan gardening activities. Astrun is provided for general gardening guidance and informational purposes; it is not a substitute for professional agronomic, horticultural, or meteorological advice.
Astrun's full functionality requires an active, paid subscription. Without an active subscription (or an active free trial, where offered), the App's features are not available for use.
Astrun does not require you to create a traditional username/password account with us. Your profile and garden data (plants, journal entries, to-dos, and preferences) are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any optional app passcode you set.
You retain ownership of the content you create within Astrun (plant records, journal text, photos). We do not claim ownership of your garden data.
Astrun offers an optional feature to back up your garden data to your own Google Drive account, described in detail in our Privacy Policy. By enabling this feature, you authorize Astrun to store and retrieve backup data within your Google Drive account's application-data space, solely for the purpose of backing up and restoring your own data. You may disable this feature and/or revoke Astrun's access to your Google Drive at any time through your Google Account settings.

The Astrun application, including its design, branding, logo, source code, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Zeinen Technology and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
Moon-phase gardening guidance, frost-risk alerts, and other in-app advice are provided for general informational purposes. Weather and frost forecasts are sourced from third-party meteorological data providers and, like all forecasts, may be inaccurate or incomplete. Astrun is not a substitute for direct observation of your own garden's conditions, and we are not responsible for plant loss, crop damage, or other consequences resulting from reliance on the App's forecasts, reminders, or advice.
ASTRUN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT FORECASTS AND ALERTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR TIMELY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZEINEN TECHNOLOGY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PLANTS, GARDEN PRODUCE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) ASTRUN, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN SUBSCRIPTION FEES DURING THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
You may stop using Astrun at any time by uninstalling the App and/or cancelling your subscription. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in unlawful activity, or attempted to circumvent our subscription/access-control mechanisms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence if you are an EU/EEA consumer.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page when changes are made, and material changes will be communicated within the App where practical. Your continued use of Astrun after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
